J-CLIL リサーチミーティング報告（J-CLIL Research Meeting Report）

J-CLILでは、2026年3月6日に第1回リサーチコロキアムをオンラインで開催しました。本コロキアムでは、日本・オーストラリア・台湾から、学部・修士・博士課程の研究発表が計9件行われ、38人の参加がありました。プログラムは、2件の基調講演に始まり、会員によるミニトークで締めくくられました。

研究発表では、サイエンス、音楽、探究型学習、CLIL教員養成、EMIなど、多岐にわたるテーマが扱われました。基調講演は、大木秀一郎博士(Shu Ohki)（メルボルン大学）および洪月女（Yeuh-Nu Hung）博士（国立台中教育大学）により行われました。ミニトークでは、Barry Kavanagh博士およびStephen McNamara博士が、分析ソフトをオンラインで共有しながら、量的・質的研究法およびMixed Methodsについて実践的な示唆を提供しました。

参加者からは、「研究法についてさらに深く学びたい」「このような発表機会を通して自身の研究をより深く見つめ直すことができた」といった声が寄せられました。また、海外の修士・博士研究の内容を通して、各国におけるCLIL研究の動向への理解が深まりました。さらに、国を越えたリサーチ協働の可能性についても活発な議論が行われました。

2027年度は、1月に発表募集を開始し、3月にコロキアムを開催する予定です。

On March 6, 2026, J-CLIL held its first online Research Colloquium. The event featured nine presentations of undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral research from Japan, Australia, and Taiwan. The program began with two keynote speeches and concluded with mini-talks by J-CLIL members.

The presentations covered a wide range of topics, including science, music, inquiry-based learning, CLIL teacher education, and EMI. The keynote speeches were delivered by Dr Shuichiro Oki (University of Melbourne) and Yue-Nu Hung (National Taichung University of Education). In the mini-talks, Dr Barry Kavanagh and Dr Stephen McNamara shared specific analysis software online and provided practical insights into quantitative and qualitative research methods, as well as mixed methods.

Participant feedback indicated a strong interest in learning more about research methodologies in greater depth. Many also noted that having opportunities to present enabled them to reflect more critically on their own research. Presentations from overseas master’s and doctoral research offered valuable insights into current CLIL discussions in different national contexts. The colloquium also fostered discussion on future research collaboration beyond national boundaries.

For 2027, we plan to open the call for presentations in January and hold the colloquium in March.
