Call for Papers
The Journal of the Japan CLIL Pedagogy Association (JJCLIL) 2018
As a president of the Japan CLIL Pedagogy Association (J-CLIL) and the chief in editor of Journal of the Japan CLIL Pedagogy Association, we invite you to submit proposals on the following topics: e.g. CLIL, CBLT, CBI, bilingual education, immersion, IB, integrated learning, CLIL classroom research, CLIL assessment, and CLIL teacher education. The JJCLIL is an international online journal, although it is contextualized in Japan, and welcomes submissions of the finest quality that report on the research and practice regarding CLIL or CBLT (Content-based Language Teaching) and offer theoretical perspectives that can push CLIL or CBLT pedagogy forward. The JJCLIL aims to help implement and develop CLIL or CBLT pedagogy especially in the Japanese educational context, but it will naturally contribute to the diversity and flexibility of integrated learning and CLIL or CBLT methodology. The JJCLIL is published online at J-CLIL website and can be downloaded openly.
Qualification to submit the paper:
Members of J-CLIL who gave a presentation at the research meeting, the seminar and the conference
Persons who have been asked by the editor board
Proposal title and abstract (approximately 300 words) submission deadline: June 30th, 2018
Notification of acceptance deadline: July 31st, 2018.
Paper submission deadline: October 30th, 2018
Regarding the nature of the full paper accepted:
5,000 to 8,000 words inclusive of notes and references
Each paper will receive 3 peer reviews
The JJCLIL will be published in spring 2019.
